The story was originally going to be released around 2013 or 2014 for the month of October. It was later delayed two times and set to be released in 2015.

- This is the only Club Penguin and Happy Feet crossover story where Bambadee doesn't make an appearance, or neither was mentioned.
- As implied in Club Penguin And Happy Feet: Birthday Bash, Bambadee was hosting a Halloween Party in his house while Mumble and the penguins were off facing Darksmoke in the haunted house.
